God of War’s Bronzed Edition is Not For American (or European) Eyes
Gamers in Latin America often get the shaft, either in terms of availability or price (or sometimes both!), so it's nice to see Sony working with the market to give them something nice.
This is the God of War: Omega Edition, and includes all three God of War console games in the one box, alongside a giant statue of Kratos and a steelbook case that contains some "exclusive artwork".
It's out in Latin America, and Latin America only, in November.

The studio puts out quality. Remember that GoW2 received tons of praise despite the fact it was a ps2 release. I am not sure we will see a subpar game in this series, with the only exception being if they ever make a yearly thing out of it like CODComment

God of War: Ascension MP Beta hitting this year
Originally posted by GameSpotGlobal pre-release trial for upcoming action game arriving first for PlayStation Plus members; director Todd Papy calls feedback "critical."
God of War: Ascension will be the first entry in the series to include a multiplayer component, and gamers eager to try this mode out before the game ships on March 12, 2013 are in luck. Sony announced recently through the PlayStation Blog that it will offer a pre-release multiplayer beta for the game.
The beta will roll out sometime later this year, with God of War: Ascension game director Todd Papy explaining it will be available globally, and first to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Papy said receiving feedback from beta testers is "critical" for God of War: Ascension as a means to help the developer tune and polish the game's multiplayer mode.
God of War: Ascension is a prequel to the original trilogy that will tell Kratos' origin story. The game's multiplayer mode will include persistent features as players develop their Troy or Spartan soldiers over time. Performance on the battlefield can yield blessings from the gods in the form of new perks, weapons, and abilities. There will also be a number of different combat roles for players, depending on the god they associate themselves with, be it Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, or Ares.Comment

I didn't post on this earlier, but I am NOT looking forward to the online component. I am waiting to see what ACIII brings, but so far, a single player experience driven by story (yes, GoW is brutal, mind-numbing fun but there is also a mythological component that is entertaining to many) doesn't do well when the attention is split between the two. I'll remain confident and I'll still buy Ascension because it's GoW, but I hope nothing is lacking from the core experience.Comment
