watched the ign video review. game looks like it could be worth buying. i love tactical shooters and we havnt seen one since R6V 2. i didnt care for the GR series though.
how is the online play?

I like that they have COOP. I do miss "Terror Hunts".........that was such a fucking awesome mode! There was nothing like being the last one alive and you were looking for that last Terrorist and everyone on the mic yelling at you....hahahaah!

I was going to get this after court this morning. But after being in court for way longer than expected I was just pissed and came home. It;s an Ubisoft published game, it will be $40 in a few weeks, tops.

Overall I like the game. A few gripes about it but nothing big.

I've been in some "behind cover" views to pop out and try to shoot someone and then to find out after returning back to 3rd person that I was too far behind or below the cover item to hit the person. So I was hitting the wall instead of the enemy. Hopefully little shit like that gets patched..

I havent had any issues with the gameplay itself. Every now and then I get booted from a room, but nothing mid game. Lots of maps which is cool. In any game communication rules. But this game has just enough tactical prowess in it, that teamwork makes t so much more fun. I hate telling other people to buy games, but I think this game is fun. Multiplayer is good. Guerrilla mode is very good, and 4 player campaign is very good. Lots to do if you have a gang to play with .

Couldnt be further form the truth for both.

They have a game mode for online called Siege. No Respawns, Attackers deploy at random spot after a short set up delay for defenders. Attackers win if objective (plant bomb) is completed or all enemies are killed. Defenders win if time expire or attackers are eliminated. Best of three wins match. It goes quick. Usually 5 or 6 a side, and no respawns mean its very short. But I guess its not true hardcore mode as defined by no huds and shit though.
