Witcher 2 is a 3rd persion Action Adventure game with a little Role Playing elements. It is not open world. You are set in a pretty defined path but can choose your way to the end. At certain points in the game you will be given an A or B choice. Each choice will take you up a different side of the mountain.

Kind of....Witcher 2 in another league.

kindom of amular....i would say no. KOA is more of an rpg and more open world. now jms loved witcher 2. i found it to be kind of boring because its very much story driven and thats not my thing.

but it got 9's all over the place and its well worth the $5. its a gorgeous game and it plays very well. the combat reminds me of batmans and the rpg stuff is like dragon age 2...its not all that deep but it has crafting and runes and exploring for loot. its just so story driven that i found myself saying cmon already, lets go.

edit...dont let my bias against story driven game deter you. this game is well worth a $60 price. at $5 you will be like hee haw and its an absolute steal.
I got it for like $20 awhile ago and refuse to delete it because i want to finish it someday

That's what I said to myself a few times during this sale only to see a popular game win and go on sale for the tenth time. Not to mention both CS:GO and BioShock Infinite have been flash/daily deals more than once already.

So I walked for two hours to get my van, then I drove for an hour to get to the forest to cut down a tree. I watched as the tree fell, a single tear went down my face. I looked at my mission log, and there was a new mission. I then realized I had to cut down another tree that was 2 hours away. I got in my van and began to drive. It was then that I made the decision to drive 70mph into a building. Because only death could save me from this wooded hell.
