PS+ is required to play online except when it comes to Free to Play games. DC Universe and a few others are the same way.

You won't need PS+... but its a monthly subscription fee of $14.99 to play ESO through the publisher

It may sound nice, but it's pretty much pointless. I'm sure most PS4 owners have PS+ already for other stuff, so knocking it out for that one game doesn't mean a damn thing. What would make a real difference is knocking down the initial retail cost of the game or making the monthly fees much cheaper.

Exactly, I love how Twigg acts like it's a big deal that PS+ isn't required for this one game even though it is for many others. Bottom line is you are paying for an online service on both systems.

Well the console release is like 2 months after the PC release. IF I had someone to play with, I would possibly think about picking it up since the summer months are usually pretty empty gaming wise.
