Tomorrow I will try a new defensive strategy. Realized I have a heal. As excited as I am for the new setup I'm too tired to keep playing

To those who aren't too pumped about the new skill system on the note of not building where their skill points. It makes the game gear heavy which is why the drops are like they are. Also the Rune System is what really stops everyone from being exactly alike. My new skill setup will be my 4th different combination and each one makes the feel of my character different based on how I approach a mob.

I have a pretty good setup now with my Barbarian. Found some nice gear and the last couple of parts of Act III and first part of Act IV has been a breeze. Revenge is my favorite move of all the Barbarian skills. I can't wait to try him out on Hell.

I have the issue on my barb that I never change any of my skills outside of upgrading runes when I reach whatever level. I get stuck in the mentality of this is the way I want it to be so no change can happen.

leveling up is supposed to mean somthing. one of the many great things of an rpg is leveling up as high as you can for the reward of building your guy into the role of what you want to be. This games (and other that do this) approach to leveling up takes away a huge chunk of what I love about RPG. It takes the role of rpg

I was like that until the game forced me to make a change. Playing with my old setup was getting me killed way too often

I'm trying to find the right combo of skills/runes for my wizard in nightmare act 3...I am getting killed pretty quickly. I've tried to buff up my HP as much as I can, and I've gone and found some gear to up my damage, but I still find myself being handled rather easily sometimes.

Wizards and Demon Hunters can't take damage. I let go of some damage and HP to up my armor. It is helping a little, but this new setup might be able to keep me alive a lot more.

Leveling up now is you get a nice shiney screen telling you what level your at now and sometimes a new skill comes available.

The old way you would get the screen and then you'd have to spend a few mins putting points into whatever attribute you want and adding either another level to a skill in your skill tree or saving it till later.

I sadly haven't had any time to play this lately as my work schedule has been rediculous. Plus starcraft is starting to creep back into play again.

The best advice I can give is to make sure you have enough HP. People completely skip over HP for whatever reason and fail miserably because of it. I was in Hell last night and 2 people joined both with under 6K hp. I'm at 30K. They of course promptly died, said wtf, and left. You cannot be a glass cannon in this game at higher difficulties.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but here's what I would like to see from the drops.

In my opinion, for the majority of your playthrough on normal you should only find normal weapons with only a few blue or magical items thrown into the mix in the later acts and at most a handful of yellow or rare items thrown into the final act if youre lucky.

In nightmare, magic items should become more commonplace and rares essentially take their place as the tems you covet with again legendary and set items maybe cropping up in the final act.

Hell and Inferno should be the time you finally start to see the set and legendary weapons with them becoming slightly more prevalent as you progress through the acts. Even so, they should not be commonplace.

I guess I'm just sick of finding legendary weapons leveled at 25. Most people who play the game play through normal, nm, hell, and now inferno and I would like to see a change in the drop system to account for this. Legendary weapons should be just that, legendary. Put a lvl 55-58 level restriction on them and only have 3rd tier items be legendary. I hate finding or buying a legendary weapon with a handfull of cool buffs and having to give it up for a magic item of a higher tier because its damage or armor is so severely outclassed.
