I know I'm probably in the minority, but here's what I would like to see from the drops.

In my opinion, for the majority of your playthrough on normal you should only find normal weapons with only a few blue or magical items thrown into the mix in the later acts and at most a handful of yellow or rare items thrown into the final act if youre lucky.

In nightmare, magic items should become more commonplace and rares essentially take their place as the tems you covet with again legendary and set items maybe cropping up in the final act.

Hell and Inferno should be the time you finally start to see the set and legendary weapons with them becoming slightly more prevalent as you progress through the acts. Even so, they should not be commonplace.

I guess I'm just sick of finding legendary weapons leveled at 25. Most people who play the game play through normal, nm, hell, and now inferno and I would like to see a change in the drop system to account for this. Legendary weapons should be just that, legendary. Put a lvl 55-58 level restriction on them and only have 3rd tier items be legendary. I hate finding or buying a legendary weapon with a handfull of cool buffs and having to give it up for a magic item of a higher tier because its damage or armor is so severely outclassed.

wtf u tired opf finding legendary at low levels? Ive put in clsoe to 60 hours and found 1 legendary at the end of NM. Im currently about to beat Act 3 on hell. I rarely find gear thats good for me, i buy my sht exclusively on AH.

cant wait to beat Hell, trying to solo as much as i can, then im gonna do the inferno act 4 exploit then just farm there, gear up, then take on inferno solo.

The best advice I can give is to make sure you have enough HP. People completely skip over HP for whatever reason and fail miserably because of it. I was in Hell last night and 2 people joined both with under 6K hp. I'm at 30K. They of course promptly died, said wtf, and left. You cannot be a glass cannon in this game at higher difficulties.

for the monks, resistance, life on hit, and attack speed on very important, besdies Dex obv.

Ive been reading for inferno u need 600 minimum on resistance to stand a chance.

Suggestions for boosting HP?

The first way to get HP is obvious, vitality. You should have it on everything.

Second, you need a socketed helm with an amethyst. It gives upwards of 10% life. That might not seem like a lot at first, but when you have 25k HP, that is 2.5k just from one socket.

Also, someone mentioned life on hit. There is currently a debate on whether it even works right or not. I'd rather have damage converted to life over damage on hit.

So my new setup wasn't as successful as I hoped. Tweaked it a bit and now it is all kinds of powerful. Rotate between my heal and potions and I never die. It is glorious.

775 DPS but only 3200 HP... Come at me bros!! (One at a time though please)

lol I'm sitting at 1400+DPS and almost 10k health(I gave some up for armor)

BYW I think 2 handed weapons are better. I am through with the dual wielding experiment.

i tried to get on at 11 pm yesterday and was getting error 37 and error 3006. Finally got in at 11:30...played till 12:15. Was falling asleep at my desk...lol

Working through Act 2 right now and finally feel powerful enough that I'm not dying which makes things a lot more fun on Normal.

what do u guys use to get your HP and DPS so high? im level 23 and think my HP is like 1600. i dont die much unless i mess up against a horde.

I agree, I only have 4.5k DPS (with a shield, which is needed in later Hell and Inferno) and 32k HP!

For those who have defeated Diablo: What area(s) of the game is(are) your favorite(s)?

 

Not sure why I spoilered this, but just to be safe.

I really like the lower levels of Act III after you help raise the catapults. I really dig the close quarters labyrinth style.
