When i played the other night I immediatley got better gear for my guy. The difficulty and all that stuff seems to be a bit more streamlined as well. I dont see the monster level anymore...did they take that out?Comment

Reinstalled and played for a bit... meh. Honestly, I think other games are better and often free to play. Path of Exiles and Marvel Heroes are both more fun, imo.Comment

I finally got the wife to play the other night and she loves it. I really like it but it's because I love dungeon crawlers. Honest;y, I don't know what all the hype about this game or series is about. The graphics are decent but nothing to write home about. The story is just horribly dumb. But the game is super fun and that's all that really matters I guess.
I love how the load times are almost non-existent.
I have had the game freeze on me twice though. First time was when we were porting to the main down and during the load screen it froze. Then the second time was after we entered a new dungeon and wanted to quit. The wife quit first and then I went to quit. Hit the load screen and froze.Comment

Diablo 3 is incredible DEEP. The hardcore players beat that game over and over to get the best loot and create the ultimate build in order to conquer the hardest difficulty. There is even a hardcore mode. Also playing throw the game as different characters is fun as well. I don't think the PS3 version is as deep as the PC version as there are layers and layers that the casual will never dive into.
If you are just going to play through once and throw it out...then it isn't anything special.
Does the PS3 version has the paragon levels?Comment

I have no idea what that is?
I guess the other thing that baffles me about the game is that it took, what, ten years to develop? Or at least a good chunk of the time between it and Diablo 2. That just seems ridiculous for what is a pretty simple dungeon crawler. I mean, as basic and generic as Dungeon Hunter, a game that cost a fraction of what Diablo did at their respective launch, is not much different. I guess I was expecting to be blown away with all the hype the series gets for some reason.
I still love playing though.Comment
