Game certainly doesn't play like poop. Gameplay is very good, presentation is unmatched. With the modded rosters the game even plays better than the out of the box product. You can only go through one season in franchise mode (so it's not really franchise) but for a one on one football game this easily takes the cake. I played their NFL 2K12 mod and it was fantastic.

Sadly they only do it on 360 so the PS3 guys are left out. I'm lucky enough to own both systems. I wish everyone that wants to experience this could but sadly I'm pretty sure you can't on PS3.

C'mon, you surely weren't expecting an actual NFL 2K13 game were you?

you could have been clearer. it is misleading.

anyway, I downloaded and played with the previous teams. my only issue with it is the fact you (iirc of course) is that you can't play multiplayer.

also, if you do choose to run a season, there's only 28 teams (I could be wrong about this too) so you'll have to leave out 4.

Don't worry, I'm with you on this one. Although I suppose the more casual gamer could be misled...but most of us on this site know that EA owns the rights to football games for a few more years.

I think it's actually 24 tbh so that is a bit of a damper. But it's free and for me a good alternative to waste time and I have fun and because this section looks to be pretty dead I figured hell why not make the thread to advertise a little.

One problem I have is how Madden sometimes changes things that don't need changing. Their on screen graphics didn't look bad in 12 and now the scoreboard is blue and ugly. They went from something that looked an actual CBS style scoreboard to this ugly blue shit that looks like what they had on wii or something.
