This was also the last year for their third party exclusive agreement, which means that MVP may be making a comeback in some way, shape or form. But you are right, even with the third party agreement, The Show is a great game and is definitely a console mover

MLB 2K7 was a great game, had a few problems like the amount of homeruns, but it could have easily been adjusted. It's sad the games afterwards all ended up being terrible.

Agreed. I loved that game. Every game they put out after that kept taking steps backwards.

I'm just interested to see if EA is going to hop back onto the field now that 2K doesn't own the rights anymore.

If they were smart they would have developed a game the entire time they couldn't but that seems like a waste of money.

agree with the 2k7 comments. fantastic game. just needed to be tweaked. unfortunately they tweaked it the wrong way

Sucks for 360 users...but if MVP baseball comes back that would be awesome.

I had MVP 05 for PC and PS2. There used to be a crazy mod community for MVP 05. I bet you can find 2012 rosters and new stadiums and all that for MVP 05 on PC.
