Also, can we not merge this into the one giant NCAA thread? More threads are better for activity, anyways. -

NCAA thought they’d jump the gun a little bit and give you a taste of what they’re bringing to the table a week early. In addition to revealing their Heisman Playbook on Wednesday May 29th, they’re also hosting a Heisman Webcast the same day. There may also be another big announcement in the works that we’re not at liberty to discuss yet...but if we were you we would probably be checking the site regularly for some big NCAA news.Comment

Do you people honestly think the NCAA would allow EA to put a playoff into the game? EA can't just put shit into the game they aren't authorized to do.Comment

I'm watching the Webcast and so far Heisman Challenge sounds like something that I'll play until the named rosters come out.

I won't be playing this game mode. I assumed it was going to be where you re-live the Heisman seasons, but instead it's just you pick a Heisman winner and play him on any team.
No thanks, EA.Comment

it would be too much redtape. They would either have no names for past teams or have to pay each individual player to get them on the field...either way fans would have complained that they didn't get everyone (teammates and opponents they played that year). It's not much of a mode but I'll probably play it till the rosters are out....put Andre Ware with the A&M Aggies (they recruited him but as a DB).Comment

I don't recall how accurate they were (fake players vs players with accurate #'s), since it's been at least 8 years since I last played with them. However, with all the court hearings, I doubt they would add players, just to add to the list of ex players taking them to court.Comment
