I'm a huge Gears fan so I'm definitely getting this day 1. I still remember when Gears 1 introduced me to Next Gen Gaming when I played it at a friend's. They haven't disappointed me yetComment

9/10
Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.

Addendum to the Sessler Post:
Rev3Games gave it 3 out of 5.
-Positives were that the MP maps were great to play on and the Survival/Overrun portions were decidedly tits.
-Negatives were that the SP (and Co-Op by default as you play the same missions/challenges, now with e-buds and friends) was kind of a chore.
Also, nothing stood out as far as combat scenarios in-game as you either fight to clear areas to get to the next objective(s) OR...
You fight waves of dudes until the game says you now earned the right to progress forward in the story.
There was no outright diss on the game as if you're a fan of the series and are looking forward to the next game, it's a definite "get" (especially diehards).
Just know going in that nothing revolutionary is happening here.Comment

Epic Games had confirmed microtransactions to be included in Gears of War: Judgment but so far it was unknown as to what players could actually buy.
VideoGamer has now confirmed that one of the items in the in-game store is a ‘double XP’ boost. The temporary boost in XP gain comes in variant packs ranging between 80 Microsoft Points and 800 Microsoft Points.
The 80 Microsoft Points pack will net you a 10 Match double XP boost, for 320 MSP you will get a 50 Match Pack, 560 MSP will get you a 100 Match Pack and finally a 200 Match Pack will be for 800 MSP.
XP is used to unlock character and weapon skins in the game. Many who perhaps have lesser time to give to the game, can make use of a XP boost kit.
Microtransactions is the future and the future begins now. Earlier this year EA confirmed their plans to include microtransactions in every upcoming game, starting with Dead Space 3. Activision included the micro-model to their Black Ops 2 title just last week.Comment
