Finally hopped online. Played ol Twiggly Wiggly. I beat him quite a few more times than he beat me, but other than a couple of matches we seemed fairly evenly matched. There was one hilarious match where I unlocked the icon for winning a match in 40 seconds or less (think I did it with Aquaman).

Favorite characters right now are Sinestro and Harley Quinn. I also enjoyed Raven and Green Arrow.

Yeah, Swarley whipped my ass up and down those arenas. I think I won three matches out of like fifteen. I need to look out how to do some specials because all I could pull off were the standard attacks and that super move. There were a few mathes where I got completely screwed on those duel things or whatever they are. I had no idea they were even going to pop up and I was in the middle of pressing an attack button. Both times Swarley won and got like all his health back and both ties I was close to beating him.

Oh well, it seems like a really fun game but I am just terrible at fighting games. I couldn't even complete some of the tutorial moves and forgot most of what they taught me five minutes after I completed it, hence not remembering how to do any specials.

Hitting Swarley in the face with a slaughtered pig was quite enjoyable.:redssuck:

edit: just saw the trailer again, Btwn the New 52 and this...jim Lee really shouldnt redesign characters anymore, And I'll say it again...If scorpion cant do a fatality or an X-ray special, its not really worth it

I haven't played it, but my understanding is the game's narrative does the Netherrealm thing where "something something" happens and everyone is on an even playing field.

I know in MK vs. DC, Batman (Luthor too?) came up with a drug that gave everyone the same power level as Superman so they could fight him (or someone as strong as him) without dying.

As for Injustice? I'd have to wiki it but I thought since everyone was already had superpowers (or at least had the gadgets and fight training to combat them), it was all gravy.
