It's dumb. In-car, first-person driving is the only way to do it.

I could be wrong but it definitely looked like the Criterion dude was using a 360 controller. That would be a first for them.

For me it's not. I can see a lot more of my environment and anticipate my movements in third person. I despise first person in racing games. More realistic or not.

For me it's not just that it's more realistic, it's that I know how a car handles from that POV. I don't drive my car from a perch behind it, so it just feels weird to drive that way in games. Just always have a much better handle on cars being inside them.

For arcade racers 3rd person works.....for sims it MAKES ZERO sense to watch the back of the car. You need to see where the front of the car is going.....100% of anyone decent at Forza use hood or bumper cam. The cockpit view has gotten more popular and easier to drive but some cars are tough.

Crysis 3 looks cool. I wish MS would put Crysis 1 on sale.

Not surprised they didn't show it during the presser. I did see something earlier that there will be some new gameplay shown at some point (guessing tomorrow).

I was always under the impression that NCAA was only for the hardest core football gamers. The fact that they only spent five minutes on Madden made me immediatley realize they weren't going to show squat about NCAA. My memory is terrible, have they ever really shown much of NCAA at any E3 press conference?

They talked about Teambuilder for NCAA 10, but never really anything other than that. NCAA has never been for hardcore football gamers, they cater to the younger crowd and majority of their features they've added over the years have proven that. The gameplay is already miles behind Madden, giving Madden a physics engine really hurts NCAA even further.
