It's honestly scary that you just said that being a cop and all. You obviously don't deal with online and cyber crime but I will say this isn't someone stealing a number on the street and then trying to run a muck on it before it gets cancelled. It's quite the opposite.

I don't want to get into this big fight, but stealing MS space points =/= potentially stealing credit cards. I thought (and seriously correct me if I'm wrong, it's just how I remember it) that you (Twigg) just had points stolen, not that someone used your CC to buy points and then steal them? I know as the person that got screwed that that doesn't feel like a difference but I think that it definitely is.

You are correct. When I initially discovered the problem and called the MS rep that I talked to actually said "Wow, I can't believe they didn't use your credit card to buy more points because that's usually what happens."

I actually think the fact that they stole the points was more of a pain in the ass then had they stolen my credit card number. Like Leaf said, had it been my cc, I could've went through the card company and it probably would've taken one call to clear everything up. Instead I had to deal with MS and their shitty customer service which is why it took months and well over ten calls to finally get it resolved.

I hear you. It's definitely different. But I've also handled my fair share of "cyber crime" or white collar crimes like identity and credit card theft. In most cases, once the information is obtained it is used as quickly as possible to open accounts, make charges, etc.

What I really don't understand is how Microsoft gets credit for just recently having MLBtv yet PSN has had it for at least 2-3 years prior to XBL getting it.

That was one of the points I made earlier when I was telling Chrispy I had a few things to make corrections about but of course I get called a fanboy by that fucking clown Maynard.

Exactly, both consoles have their pros and cons. It's hard to compare the PC market though because you can upgrade your PC components along the way to give new life to your rig and you can't do that for consoles. At the time a console is launched, I would say it is on par with the middle to upper tier of PC gaming rigs at that moment. Six months later though the PC capabilities have passed it by.

I'd say that Sony is the far superior machine this generation, but I like my 360 more for whatever reason. Sort of like last gen where all I ever played was PS2 despite Xbox being the more powerful system.
