    [360] Windows Live/XBL account help

Somehow, my Windows Live account was blocked due to spam. I am not sure why that happened, but it did, whatever.

In any case, the email I have associated with my account is no longer active- Comcast wasted no time in deleting that months ago when we switched to Verizon. I've checked at both xbox.com and on the XBL dashboard to try and change the email, but the account is blocked.

Any way I can get around this? The reason I need it is for FoxSports fantasy football, as they require you to use Windows Live to access their fantasy leagues. If I make a new one, it is beyond a headache for the owner of the two leagues I am in to adjust things, as both are keepers (and he won't switch to Yahoo, I have no idea why.)

No, they deleted it soon after we returned their equipment. And the only option to change the password is to send a code to the email.

I was actually hoping to not call MS, but hoping someone knew some kind of fix, like how you can change your EA account name on the Scrabble application on an iPhone. If I have to call MS, I'll tell my find that he'll have to deal with it.

i wish i knew of something, but that email is everything for the windows login. short of making the call, i dont know of any other options.

they are not always bad to deal with. the nice thing is, if you go into it thinking the worst you can only be happy if they do a good job.

how did you get your account blocked for spam? were you recruiting new site members Rush style?

I don't know, the only time I ever used the log-in was to access Fox Sports or my Live account via Xbox.com.
