I'm seriously pissed right now. I bought this game for 360 because the few people I like playing with were, keyword WERE, hardcore 360 guys as far as NCAA was concerned. I even convinced my one buddy in Michigan to buy the 360 version even though he wanted to go PS3. I find out withing the past few days that Brnt and Wings aren't even getting the game this year and Swarley got it for PS3.
Fuck me. Seriously.

Well, at least I have that.
That's one of the main reasons I went with 360 this year. No so much on NCAA but Madden looked a lot better on 360 last year and the PS3 version of Madden had audio issues as well. Plus the lag on Madden PS3 was a joke. No problems on NCAA though.
Tiburon always seems to cut corners with the PS3 versions and they seem to be ports. I actually bought the PS3 versions of both games last year and traded them into Amazon and rebought them for 360.Comment

I just don't get why the graphics are so bad. TBH I'm fine with this years game, just like I was last year. It gets the job done for me at least when it comes to getting my much needed fix of football in July.
Road to Heisman or w/e they call it is pretty lame tho. The only thing that would make it worth playing is if they had the correct rosters from that player's Heisman season. Instead they just plant these players of the past on the current teams, and its super lame.Comment

I find myself enjoying this game a lot, especially on Heisman. This may be the first NCAA game in a long time that plays well right out of the box on Heisman.
CPU playcalling is painfully retarded sometimes. The game is a lot more fun against a human opponent.
Psychic D is still there, but the plus is that route mirroring isn't as prevalent this year. Only seen it a handful of times.
Speed receivers have a tendency to break Cover 2 too easily because the safety false steps so often.
The run blocking on this game is hit-or-miss. There are several times where a offensive lineman will totally ignore their man and immediately try to go to the second level.
The issue where the cornerback just staring/backpedaling as the ball carrier is coming their way still happens time from time.
I think people who rely heavily on stick still and want to be involved in every bit of the action will be disappointed, especially defensively.
There are some HUGE rating swings for recruits in Dynasty Mode.
All in all, I'm fine with my purchase. I'd give it about 7/10 as is, but if/when they patch the zone issues I'd bump it to a 8.

its still early to say much yet.
and for those that care..yes , I agree the mode is dumb but you can change the difficulty level of Heisman mode..there ya' go LOL.
the game is basically '12 but now with cuter QB and WR animations. Things seem to jut around too fast at times. I think the motion-blur gimmick made some things worse or stupid.
I think what they did to make the Oregon Mirrored helmet carried over into all the other helmets and maybe made them too glossy?
II mean ,..I was using Ark. State last night in a day game with their black helmets...but the color/animations made it look like you could see the green field in the reflection of the helmets and caused a silly green glow around them..it was funny and cool, but I still dont want to see that alot LOL.
if you are having trouble user catching or swating the ball...delete the tuner and reload it when you start the game up again.Comment

Got my copy yesterday (thanks VSN!) and so far I am enjoying it. Default Heisman plays a pretty solid game. I may try some sliders I found at OS from some guy named HartStopper - apparently they are pretty solid.
When it comes to gameplay overall, I am finally able to play with one of my favorite offenses due to the read-and-react system. I am a big fan of the one-back offense. More importantly, the one back system that Wazzu ran when Ryan Leaf was there. With the read-and-react system, I can actually employ some of the concepts Wazzu used. I just played a game this weekend using Florida against Missouri and Mike Gillislee had 15 carries for 115 yards, I had 200 yards passing at half with Jeff Driskell and finished with just over 300 for the game. Overall, I was able to audible effectively, change routes and not have the DB mirror and I still had a few INTs when I got greedy or was becoming predictable.
I have yet to start my dynasty, but, when I do, I can see myself putting up some nice, and realistic, numbers with BJ Daniels, Demetris Murray, etc. in my one-back scheme. I might even be able to hang with the big boys when I play them on heisman, as opposed to getting my doors blown off or having my offense become useless in the second half.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008
