I was tired last night, but I didn't fall asleep. That other time I didn't hear you for quite awhile so I went and took a glorious shit, then you were gone.Comment

The next Origin beta update is allowing users to stream their games on Twitch. I'll give it a test and play some BF3 or something (within the week?) as soon as I get it set up properly.

The Origin beta was released today, and I'll try to find the best settings for my setup.
In the meantime, here's my channel:
UPDATE: I tried to find the best settings. At first, things went fine. My mic audio was a bit choppy, but everything else was fine for the presets that I selected. After I decided to change the settings to increase the stream quality, things went to shit. My mic audio stopped, then the game audio, and finally it started crashing my game as I went through different configurations.
If EA can get this shit to work, it'll be a nice tool to have.Comment

So, I'm going to abandon the Origin streaming tool for now. It's just too much of a headache to get working with good quality output. Instead I've downloaded FFSplit and done some quick tests with the default settings. The image quality is fine, but the audio was a bit out of sync. My mic audio was a bit low as well, and I'll try to get those sorted. I also need to find a way to get borderless windowed mode for my games so you see as much of the game as possible.Comment

I'll definitely check that out tonight.
Swaaaaley needs to get his stream back on soon, too.Comment

I'm officially back on Twitch. Bought an HD PVR 2 today and hooked it up for some capturing. Ended up booting up XSplit just to see, and boom, it's going and not dropping any frames. Streamed Kane & Lynch 2 tonight with no hiccups (a good 3+ hours). I plan on streaming quite a bit of Hitman: Absolution on Tuesday.
P.S. - fuck the El Gato lol.
