As this generation nears its end (I assume), I'm sure we won't see the last of both PSN and XBLA shit, but as far as the latter is concerned it's been perhaps the most memorable part of the 360. For me personally, while I have many favorite disc-based games on the 360 and PS3, the majority of my gaming time and enjoyment I think has come from the games on XBLA.
So, I just thought I'd create a thread seeing what some other peoples favorites are. Let's try to limit it to 5 with a reason why for each (no need to rank them). My tentative, off-of-the-top-of-my-head 5 as I write this (I'll give more details later):
Shadow Complex
Castle Crashers
Trials
Outland
Super Meat Boy
I wasn't trying to exclude PSN in this, it's just that PSN didn't really start with these types of games until well after XBLA had kind of locked up a lot of the new ones for a while (or in some cases, forever). So let's not get caught up in that. The game can be on both, just, I guess, had to come out on XBLA first.
