PS4 part starts at 10:08. Regarding the visual quality for next gen, it looks like current "medium" settings for BF3 on PC. In other words, a big step up from current gen BF3.

It sounds like the beta will open up to everyone eventually anyway, and pre-order/premium/moh folks will only get a day or two more similar to the BF3 beta.

Can't say I'm too excited for the beta. I'm excited for BF4 b/c of the increased match and map size on the next-gen consoles, so playing it on PS3 isn't going to do much for me (on top of it coming out alongside GTA Online lol).

Eh, I'm fine with playing some BF3 up until the next-gen launch, but I'll play with the FOOT wherever they are I suppose. I thought about doing the trade-up, but with Arkham Origins coming out only a few days before it, I don't really feel the need.

For the few people on VSN who will be trying out the PC beta, you can preload it on the 29th at 10AM PT, and you must have a 64-bit OS (retail will run on both 32- and 64-bit machines).

Squad Rush is no more. Instead, we have a game mode from CS called Defuse.

Combat type: Competitive close quarters combat
Designed for: 5 vs. 5 players (all platforms)
Commander mode: No

The other new game mode making its debut in Battlefield 4, Defuse is a highly competitive and lethal. Each player is given a single life per round, every shot fired having the potential to drastically change the outcome. Teams can win by eliminating the enemy squad, or arming and detonating a military objective that they own (similar to the M-COM stations in Rush mode.)

Built from the ground up and designed to cater to the most competitive Battlefield players, Defuse provides a distinctly new flavor to Battlefield that stands in stark contrast to other modes like Rush and Conquest. Each player can only be revived once per round, and players who have been eliminated will be following the rest of the showdown from the sidelines.

DICE Reveals Full List Of Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Maps

DICE has revealed the full list of multiplayer maps coming Battlefield 4, and offered a single screenshot showcasing new map Zavod 311.

Battlefield 4's maps will take players to China, Shanghai, a stormy ocean, a flooded city, and the woods, as you can see in the screen above. Zavod 311 takes place in and around an abandoned Cold War tank factory that houses an active warhead. The warhead be detonated to open up new navigation options in the level. DICE today also revealed the full list of multiplayer modes coming to Battlefield 4, which you can check out here.
