Either I forgot how to Battlefield or they changed the helicopter/vehicle controls. Took off, straight to the ground both times. I do not like the throttle being the left thumb stick but I haven't looked to see the different controller configurations. Pretty fun so far though.

I think I saw that you can change the controls for vehicles back to what they were in BF3 and prior.

Thanks I'll check it out. My first game I got into the guy I was with in my squad must have been completely new too because he kept stopping to look at me and where I was going...I was following him because I didn't know where to go either lol. I think it was Operation Locker, the fight for B is hectic for sure.

Battlefield 4

The only thing I can say is this is the best looking game I have ever seen on the PC. You have to see it to truly appreciate it. Looks amazing on my TV but even better on my monitor. My GTX 760 can handle everything on ultra at 1080p with over 50 fps.

Oh yeah the surround sound is some of the best I have experienced as well.

Look up 2 of your Forza Racing club members, myself and Jvalenica have it for PC

I wish they would have shown more of the Caspian Border remake instead of just focusing on the hill flag. If you didn't catch it, that huge communications tower is now at the hill flag, and they replaced the chain-link fence border with a huge concrete wall with a couple of watchtowers along it.

You cannot change the vehicle controls back to BF3 style. I actually have gotten used to it rather quickly and it is not bad, just different. I'm so glad they added the test battlefield so you can mess around with vehicles etc. The spotting button being moved makes it harder to spotwhore especially if you are gunning in a tank.

There are some annoying things in this game

1. Spawning mechanic. Having to pick points on the map that you can spawn at is awkward and clunky with a controller. You have to guess whether the left stick or the right stick will get you to where you want to spawn. Probably works great on PC though.

2. Only being able to edit your kits in game. If I can do it outside of a match I have completely missed it. edit: You can change them from battlelog on the computer.

3. Battlepacks. A real head scratcher here, I don't understand why this is better than how they did it in BF3.

Yeah I'm not fan of the kill cam, spawn mechanic, or holding start for the scoreboard. Kinda of unnecessary changes there. The kill cam is similar to Socom 4s, it looks stupid.

I'm done with the game until I get the PS4 version. These maps will be much better with 64 players, or even 32 for that matter.

On 360 it seems some maps will only have 2-3 infantrymen at any given time.

The campaign has crashed on me twice. I think it is that shitty web based client. I played about an hour of MP last nite and had no problems.
