This makes me sad

They've charged for "expansion packs" for most of their games though. With BC2 however, most of their map releases were just adding the different game modes to the maps that shipped with the game (i.e. no new maps until their last update), and people would have been really pissed if they charged for those updates.

That's one thing I like about the game on PC. I play on a server that does 24/7 Locker Team death match where it's an instant ban for using explosives. You can use smoke and flares but that's it as far as explosives go.

DICE could make about 40 more small gamesize maps just from cutting different sections of existing maps.
