I think it's pretty sad that every year now we get this game and have to waite on patches to fix stuff that EA's game testers and QA people should spot before the game is even released.

For crying out loud i can't even tolerate playing CPU Option teams....

It's a solid game but IMO the game has made minimum progress in the last 2 years since NCAA 11 in terms of gameplay on the field. You almost wish EA would just release these sports games every 2 years so they won't have any excuses for broken gameplay year after year.

Coding games isn't that easy. For every glitch you fix, you create a new one somewhere else.

Update should be live tomorrow. Haven't heard an exact time but it would make sense that it would be available for Xbox in the morning and PS3 in the afternoon if it follows the pattern of recent releases.

The update (all 2MB worth) is now live for both PS3 and Xbox.

If EA does QA at all, there's no way they can play as many games as all the people who bought the game in the first week. They just can't. They'll never flat out admit it but it's plain to see that they are using their customers as their "Beta testers". Any given year, NCAA won't be a "completed" game until about 2 months after release. There's no point in buying it until a few months after release when they've patched everything and ideally, everything still works as planned. You can probably save yourself a buck or two if you wait, as well.
