Fans of EA's rendition of the National Hockey League have been clamoring for the upcoming NHL 13 for months on end now.

Not one to disappoint, we here at Virtual Sports Network (via VSN Radio) have secured a very special interview with producers Sean Ramjagsingh and Andy Agostini.

In the interview, hosted by VSN's own Bomberooski and Mr. Bill, Mr. Ramjagsingh and Mr. Agostini sat down to answer hand-picked questions poised by forum members of Virtual Sports Network dot com.

My thoughts from this

- boo to just iOS only for the mobile app. Atleast I got an ipad so as commish I can do all the work off that, but sucks it wont be on android.

- they answered the question on having 6v2 games if they want in gm connect, so that does open up a lot I can do with the hockey league. Guys can run a team on their own, or team up with someone, and yet if they are not there, can still play a 1v1 game if needed. I'm thinking of introducing this, but have to figure out a few things for it.

- Very happy the GM brain thing will fix the salary cap problem, and I hope it actually works because when running an OD, the last thing you want is to have a bunch of guys wanting sick amounts of money.

- and of course....."sounds good"

Listening to the interview before I put it up definitely put this game onto my "watch" list simply from the parts about how many people can play and how they can play as well.

Up to 750 people in one league (the highest I've heard of in a gameworld not named MAG [256] or EVE Online [endless depending on the servers]), with the option of just playing a position or running a team or both... it's awesome.

Brink talks about how he's getting FIFA this year and he hasn't played in a while; I might grab NHL 13 based on how hyped I got.

 

I'm not preordering the Stanley Cup Edition, otherwise I'm doing this all day...

Once we get the site approved as a "Game Changers" site all of that can be hashed out. Until then, we will likely get one copy the day before it is available for season pass customers. I suspect after we write up a review that it will be used to promote a drawing here at the site.
