John Carmack mentioned about a $500 price tag during E3 which is quite a deal compared to the prices of other head-mounted displays that he described. It's certainly a cool idea, and it takes the next step from the TrackIR by allowing you to continue looking forward when you turn your head instead of having to look out of the corner of your eyes back to the monitor.
