I agree with the majority of the list but some of those games are not co-op. IE Team Fortress, WoW, Minecraft. These are Mutliplayer games to me.
It's like putting SSB, CoD or Golden Eye on the list.

When I think of co-op I think of playing through a campaign with 2-4 friends like Borderlands, Halo Combat Evolved, Turtles in Time, Castle Crashers, Double Dragon

I don't think of competitive multiplayer when I think of Minecraft. To me, the core of its multiplayer experience is to team up with other people, gather resources, build stuff, and (sometimes) fend off mobs.

I'll give you Minecraft fine but those others def are not co-op games. I didnt even go over the entire list but I'm sure there are more on their too that are Mutiplayer instead of actual co-op.

Ok, and WoW has raids I guess. But what about Team Fortress?

I think it's safe to say that I agree.

I bet they probably talk about how key the teamwork aspect is and working cooperatively to be successful. The same could be said for other tactical and objective-based shooters but not on the same level as TF2.

Well, how's this for a turn of events? Valve is introducing a co-op horde mode for TF2 this week.
