Didn't they mention in a video that '13 had the same gameplay teams on both games? I know the Ex UF QB shows up for both Madden & NCAA videos talking about QB improvements.

Yes, they have the same gameplay teams, which was recently expanded (I think doubled?). NCAA's gameplay has been years behind Madden's so I wouldn't expect Madden 13 to play anything like NCAA 13.

The NCAA game has always used the previous years madden for it's engine. That's been known for over a decade now.

The passing game is horrendous in NCAA. You can at least throw over defenders at times in Madden or not worry the DB will run the route before your WR does.

NCAA 12 and Madden 12 played the same and that can be said about 11 and 10 for both games. I expect nothing more than maybe a slightly more polished version of NCAA 13.

Those games played nothing alike. NOTHING alike.

Presentation wise...best ever IMO. I wonder what bugs it come out with that will hinder the game (like NCAA). I know for a fact that the home team "Will Rock You."

Attention to detail.
I got called for illegal touching, didn't even know Madden knew that was a penalty. The tackling and rushing are a lot of fun, guys get tripped up but I haven't seen anything where it hasn't been a realistic place did them to trip, except post play where they fall all over each other.
Passing is hard to tell when you aren't playing against a user, I fit the ball into some spots I don't think I could have last year though.

The tackling looks good, way more realistic than before, if a guy is in a position to help with the tackle he will instead of just standing there and watching, or bouncing off like a pinball.

Game play is fast and fluid. Defense is nasty.
