i just saw an animation where the AI QB is looking to throw ball and gets tangled up and falls down bumping into his own lineman, but he isnt touched by my team and gets up..but still throws a lame duck short pass

I've played it through a few times with all the teams.

First off, the jump from all pro to AM is pretty significant. on AP the AI doesn't seem to cheat you as much by consistently playing to your play but on AM it's no different than it's been in past years. This is why I tend to avoid playing the AI though, because Madden's idea of challenging you has always been this.

It looks nice, a lot of the tackling animations are beautiful. but like KG pointed out the CPU AI will constantly break tackles that you simply wont if you're the ball carrier. I can only watch Bradshaw run over Patrick Willis so many times before I call bullshit. Maybe this gets fixed when we get the actual game? maybe this isn't an issue with player vs. player games?

Anyway, it plays great on defense, I've noticed it's harder to make plays on balls in AM though.

This demo might be better than the entire NCAA 13 title

I thought the demo was pretty good.

I did have one play however that I hope doesn't have often. The 49'ers had a 3rd and 5, the back came out of the flat and ran a short comeback route. He caught the ball about 2 yards short, turned around and just stopped moving so he could switch the ball from his left hand to his right. By the time he started to run again, he got plowed. Btw , the hand he switched to was on the side the defender was on.


Other than that, I thought the game played really well (for a demo)

demos are still just that , demo's.

I'll keep playing NCAA to enter some dyn's in a couple weeks and simply buy Madden when its out like always.

Demo's are always shotty and never tell me what i really want to know anyway. The ncaa demo reminded me again what a waste of time demo's really are for me. Just get me the game

I just deleted the ncaa demo and a ton of ncaa 11,12 and madden 11 saves before loading this.

Tuck sacks me on like every play on all pro. It seems like its gonna continue to be CPU=7 sacks per game User = 1, like it always is. Idk Im hoping its not because I played with Eli and he seemed to have more time but I only played a quarter and a half.

Really cool stuff though like a jump ball INT where there wasnt any morphing or anything the WR and CB just fell back onto each other so pretty like. A few passes that would have normally been super picked off or swatted. And everything feels silky smooth.
