[ALL] VSN is attending the GameStop Expo on 8/29

VSN will be at the GameStop Expo in San Antonio (courtesy of Ronnie @ 2K Sports) on Wednesday 8/29 to check out some of the games and chat with some of the developers. Here's a brief write up on what will be shown at the event-

Here are some highlights of what you can do at GameStop EXPO 2012:

• Get your hands on the Wii U
• Get hands-on with Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer
• Meet two-time NBA world champion and TV analyst Kenny Smith
• Meet the developers from Assassin’s Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and Splinter Cell Blacklist
• Play God of War Ascension, Wonderbook: Book of Spells, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and other upcoming Sony titles
• Check out Medal of Honor Warfighter, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3, SimCity, FIFA Soccer 13 and Madden NFL 13

I'll be trying to get some gameplay video of Black Ops II, meet with the EA and 2K Sports reps and also check out the Wii U. If you have anything you'd like to get more information on, post it here and we'll do our best!

I'll definitely get some video. It might be hard to do a livestream or ustream since I won't know exactly when I will get some time with the game. I imagine that 90% of the people attending will be making a break for the Activision booth as soon as the doors open.

And that's right when you haul ass for the Ubisoft booth for some SC:BL, AC3 and FC3.

It's one of the biggest holiday sellers of the year so I guess that is why they will be showing it. I haven't been able to confirm that any of the devs will actually be there for any of the EA games. Sometimes the demo booths are just manned by local temps.

Ask Ubisoft what the deal with Rainbow Six: Patriots is as well.

Why can't NBA 2K series can't get team's shoes colors correct straight out of the box after all this time? I saw OKC still wearing white shoes in their away uniforms in a 2K13 video. I know they eventually patch them with a later roster update, but they've been doing this for years.
