NBA Live '13 gameplay video released

After more than two months of nearly total radio silence from EA Sports and the NBA Live team, skeptical sports gamers figured the series' return was either in trouble, delayed, or even secretly canceled. This video spotted by Operation Sports, which shows 11 minutes of the game from boot-up to the first quarter horn, suggests otherwise. It's the Miami Heat versus Oklahoma City, a rematch of this year's NBA Finals.

I can't imagine that just a little over 30 days from when this game should be launched that EA will let this go out the door. At best, it will be a digital download in the $19.99 range. There are some screen captures from the game footage that show it is currently in a digital download format (exit to dashboard/friend rankings).

Based on this, I don't see 2K Sports losing the NBA crown to EA this year.
