    [PS3] Hot Shots Golf 6

The Vita version is coming to PS3.

Hot Shots Golf 6 Announced for PS3

Sony will be releasing the PlayStation Vita version of Hot Shots Golf on PlayStation 3. Under Japanese naming, the PS3 version will go by the same name as the Vita version, Minna no Golf 6.

As detailed in this week's Famitsu, the PS3 version will support Move, and will be playable with the Vita version via cross play. Download content that was released for the Vita version will be included from the start. The PS3 version will also add two new modes.

Look for Minna no Golf 6 on November 22.

Hot Shots Golf 6 Supports 1080p

The PS3 version will support 1080p -- a first for the series -- and will allow for Move-based swinging.

The PS3 version will have the following download content from the Vita version: Erica, Gloria (with cosplay items), Mt. Sakura Country Club and Mar Cielo Golf Course.

As detailed earlier, the PS3 version adds two new modes: Slot Mode and Everyone's Short Course. In Slot Mode, you spin a roulette which determines the rules. Everyone's Short Course gives you courses comprised entirely of short holes.

Other new features for the PS3 include adjusted difficulty and new tournaments to the challenge mode. Online play on the PS3 supports four players.

PS3 and Vita owners can compete via Cross Play, which works with the game's lobbies, tournaments, ranking and daily national tournament modes.

No chance I buy this since I already have the Vita version.

And they're releasing his during the busy holiday season? This game will get buried and will probably be $20 by January.

Call me crazy, but on the console I'd rather play Tiggy Woods.

As much as I love the Hot Shots series, who's going to buy it in late November when The CoD's and other big blockbusters are releasing at the same time. No one is going to care about a cutesy Japanes golf game. Unless of course it debuts at $20 or $30.

If Sony is charging $60 for this game they need their head examined.

I remember the original hot shots golf. Spent an entire summer as a kid trying to unlock that game, was awesome. This video brings back so many memories:

Hot Shots golf has always been a high quality title and well worth the full price. 100 times better than that garbage from EA who nickel and dime on courses etc. Day 1 purchase for sure.

The HSG series holds its price surprisingly well. I guarantee it won't be $20 by January. Even with all of the AAA titles in the market like you mentioned in your other post.

You're crazy. EA sells you about 50% of a game with TW. Fuck that shit. HSG is just a load of fun.

I'm not saying it isn't. But most people don't even know what this series even is. Releasing it in late November is just going to help it get buried even more.

And also like I said, this is basically the same game as the Vita version, which was $40, and actually hit $30 soon after launch. Sony can't expect people to pay twice as much just because it's on a bigger screen.

That's why I stick to the older versions on this gen. I would never pay for that shit now that they do that bullshit. But those older ones are great. Golf games are fun, but I can get by with one for 3-4 years before I get bored of it.

I love the Vita game but damn if the difficulty doesn't ramp up ridiculously.

I'm glad Sony was smart enought to price this at $20.

I just wanna play this online with the ps3 community. This game probably just about 40-90 hours of more gameplay out of me.
