Fair Catch glitch?

Was playing last night and I was receiving a punt around the 40 yard line. I signaled fair catch and at the last second my returner ran forward and let the ball go all the way down to the 10 yard line.. wtf? any1 have this shit happen?

Yep, happened to me once last night too. I was around my 30 and the dude just moved out the way.

I haven't run into it, but I always manually move my guy a little before the ball comes so that I have control of him. Don't trust the cpu

This happened to me numerous times last year. I wouldn't fair catch until I was about to catch the ball.
