I've been playing this, it's an MMORPG so if your into that kinda thing you should generally enjoy this.
The best part about GW2 is unlike most MMO's it has no subscription fee's, pay 59.99 like a console game and then play to your hearts content without handing them anymore money.
I have it, been playing some. It's overwhelming at first because it's nothing like any recent MMO. Everything recent has followed the WoW formula and this doesn't at all. People have been saying it reminds them of Asheron's Call and I kind of see that. I think it's a combination of early MMOs (minus the frustrating things that came with those games) with ideas borrowed from Rift and Warhammer Online. I really like it.
After logging 24 hours of it over the weekend, I can honestly say this is the first game since WoW released that may actually get me to cancel my WoW account for good. So much fun. Funny thing is, I hated the first Guild Wars, but this...this is just awesome. Fighting something this at level 14...no other MMO out there lets you do that!
lucky for me my gullet of games is bare. borderlands 2 is the only thing on my radar. i really didnt know this game exsisted until today when i watched the IGN video review. then i watch gamespots review...i really like Kevin Van Ord and his opinion usually mirrors mine....so i checked into some other things about the game and was pretty blown away by it.
not to mention....no fees to play.
its downloading now...54%. i cant play it till later though
