On defense. I normally play safety , considering toying around at linebacker due to how open the middle of the field is at times.
What position do you control?

I prob play mlb 70% of the time with the rest being mostly at safety. I'll get on the line every once in a while

Pass rusher/DT, although I have been practicing as an inside linebacker. I don't feel comfortable enough to play it much against a user, though.

It's DE 90% of the time but will play MLB and FS or SS on a rare occasion.
It's not that i'm bad at playing MLB or FS or SS it's just that i enjoy trying to swim and bully my way to QB. If I'm playing in a 3-4 i'll play either rush linebacker.

I'm usually the FS 80% of the time, but occasionally I'll be the MLB depending on the coverage and formation the offense comes out in.

I used to user the corner, but, if you get good enough at it, the game gets incredibly boring as you see no action. For Madden 13, I have toyed with a number of different positions, I just don't know which one I like best yet. I have controlled rush LB/DE spots, I have used the 3-tech exclusively when I play with a DT and I have used the ILB/MLB. MLB's keep the middle of the field from being wide open, but sometimes I don't generate big enough numbers in tackles which may hinder XP points if I am playing in CCM. Because of that, I am considering going with the DE or UT/3-tech in my CCM.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

Depends who I play against. If it's against a user, I'll start at MLB until I begin to understand how they run their offense. Once I figure out what they're trying to do, I'll either stay at MLB or go to SS. If it's the CPU, then I'll just switch between whatever I feel like I wanna play. Mostly stay in the DB's though since I play FS IRL, I just feel comfortable there.Comment

DT all the time.....
I play vs the CPU and to me sticking to one defender at all times allows the CPU offense to put up realistic stats. I don't like to switch off because i find that in the sports games when a human player takes control over the defender he can actually make that defender much better than his ratings would dictate.
I want my scrub CB or Safety to play just like a scrub CB or safety in the game.....So for the last 4-5 years I've been utilizing a NO SWITCH DEFENSIVE RULE in my games.
Now if I'm playing a buddy or family member head to head I love to control the FS at the start of every play and then switch off once the play develops.PLAYMAKERS CLASSIC FOOTBALL ROSTERS (XBOX 360)
