The first thing I thought was that this game looks just like Shank but with a ninja character. Then I see that this game was developed by Klei. Apparently they are one trick ponies.

Does it feature Metroid-vania type exploration? Hard to tell from the video. That could set it apart and make it a lot more interesting IMO.

Is there any word on price? I don't see any mention in that Joystiq article. I hope M$ learned their lesson when they originally priced Shank at $15. Shank 2 debuted at $10.

This game does seem a lot more interesting than shit like Wreckateer, or even Hybrid. Summer of Arcade would've been a lot better off with this and Rockband Blitz.

I must be listening to different ones because the ones I listen to all say it'sd garbage and basically a 3D Angry Birds. The only thing they praise is that the actual Kinect controls work, which seem to be a rarity with that piece of shit.

And the brutal executions, the dialogue/narration, the way the character moves. Plus it's a side scrolling action game. I'd say there are way more similarities than just the art style.

Just read on their official blog that it's 1200 MS points. Pass.

It's not a side scrolling action game, it's a side scrolling stealth game. That'd be the major difference, which is all the difference. I picked it up, and I have to say, it's pretty fantastic. And did you even try it before you decided it wasn't worth 15 bucks? Did you look at a single review or read a single detail about it? It sounds like you're just pigeon-holing it because it looks and sounds like Shank.

An arcade game would have to blow me away for me to pay $15. The last time I paid $15 for an arcade game was Shadow Complex I believe.

Definitely agree. Most of my favorites have been downloadable. Far more memorable in a lot of cases IMO.

LOL. My buddy donwloaded this as well and said he's digging it. I asked him if it was similar to Shank and he replied "Very similar". He was a huge fan of the two Shank games btw.

I'll give my own opinion once I try the demo myself but I thought that was funny.
