EA Expected to Announce Player Editing in Connected Careers!

I want to believe that their "shocking announcement" will be player editing or something, but given EAs history I expect something much less valuable. It will probably be some dumb gimmicky Kinect, gameface, more jerseys etc feature that a bunch of casual nerds will enjoy.

Looman is the point man on Connected Careers, if it was something like that then somebody else would be talking about it.

I still expect the player editing to come in the next patch as they mentioned it with the release of this past patch. I'm relatively sure EA wouldn't mention it if they weren't planning on implementing it.

Fantasy draft is great for guys that want it but it doesn't give the league guys any relief on the roster situation.

If they dont do shit else please patch in jersey number edits. Seeing 2 players with the same number is a pet peeve of mine. Things like this are common sense yet they miss it when we have had this for years.

If the CC mode can deal with a fantasy draft totally re-shuffling the start up posters why isn't it able to handle player edits?

The only thing good of editing is if you can edit a whole roster, and create throwback era roster files.

Not to brag or anything but if EA opens up the ability to edit MADDEN 13 ROSTERS I could make some killer Classic teams and players that I gurantee would be a lot more fun than EA's default rosters to use in CCM.

Now for the younger crowd seeing a guy created like Jim Brown or Dan Marino might not mean much to them.....but for those who are into classic teams or even fans of APF 2K8 this would be one helluva addition by EA if they can pull this off this this year.

They already have the throwback uniforms and gear in game.....I could do some amazing work with Madden 13 if they only allow us to edit players/teams and use them in a CCM.

Imagine playing with the 92 Cowboys vs the 88 49ers or the 70's Steelers.....in a real season mode that includes a championship game.

That's all i do with NBA 2K 11/12 is use Classic teams and players in a season mode.

Yep, this is a feature that I love on NBA2K. I like having the abiity to put some of those classic teams against the modern era teams.

I was a little excited to hear you can do fantasy draft, so i go to start one up and you cant do it offline, so i had to create an online ccm and just play by myself, So i start the draft and it is HORRIBLE, the players are not listed in OVR order and you cant even find half of the players theres only a certain amount of players you can choose from at each position and as they get drafted more show up. Its horrible. For example, i drafted Kendall Wright and Doug Martin with my last 2 picks of the draft and i couldn't even see them on the draft board until close till the end of the draft, Those guys would easily be gone in the front half of the draft. DUMB, they try to make some people happy and it seems to make the game worse, fix it or just scrap it. Also let us edit players!

- player positions is a big thing to change depending on where you want to use a guy. since we have goals, this is even more important.
- player numbers...well don't you get annoyed when someone is wearing 99 in NHL?
- draft QB's coming out with linemen facemasks...yeah that shit is gay.

etc.

I have never once in all my years of sports gaming given a single fuck about what number a player is wearing or whether their euipment is right or wrong because I've become so used to EA just getting it wrong.
