There is also PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) which is also great.

FIFA is more popular but I think PES plays a better game of soccer.
Graphics are less polished or crisp as FIFA but to me, it looks more realistic. Not so saturated in color.

For single player, I'd say PES. FIFA leans toward multiplayer more.

graphics wont matter because i will play on the pc...so either way it will look great. gameplay is the biggest thing for me...although i know nothing about gameplay cause i know nothing about soccer

That is why I'm liking PES, the AI is much more intelligent and I think tougher. It's amazing how good that game is and there not be any slider adjustments in the game

the goalie dives are def way too slow. I have seen 2-3 goals where the goalie dives so late the ball hits the post and goes in.
