once you switch to the 2k camera you cant go back

the ability to control your player with that angle is vastly superior due to the logistics of pushing the RS in the right direction from the basket to trigger an animation or move

How can people play on an essentially a 2D plane with the broadcast view? You need to be able to see the entire floor in basketball to be effective. I doubt people switch to sideline in Madden.

It's essentially grabbing the internal files and manipulating them to edit rosters, arenas, jerseys, etc. It's nothing losers like you and I can do but download a hex-edited roster from 2k12 and be amazed.

i'm probably just not seeing it, but is there a ps3 roster file that's been edited for 2k12? i didn't see one on OS.

This. I never understood any other camera angle besides 2K as well. I have to be able to see the whole court

Only thing the broadcast cam is good for is a better view of dunks and slowing down off ball passing lane defense cheese. Like Stevsta said, you're able to pull of moves easier with the 2K cam. It feels like with the broadcast cam I messing up way too often. They need to start giving you the option in the demos for the camera view.

We just grew up playing like this. I played like this in almost every game, except for SNES NCAA Basketball. It took me a couple of years, when I actually started to play with My Player before I gave the 2K camera a chance. I doubt I'll go back to the sideview.

edit: I just got mine dropped off from UPS. Going to watch the Cards/Rams game, so I might not play till tomorrow (unless game is a blowout).

Played a handful of MyPlayer games today..fuck that addicting mode. I'd still be playing for another four hours if the Cardinals weren't about to play. I always start out with two different files, one for a PF and the other for a PG. Just signed a deal with Nike on my PG one.
My first game(pg), had 2 assists and 4 rebounds in 6 minutes. Second game, had 10 assists and 6 rebounds in 12 mintes. Next game, against the Heat, had 13 assists and 6 rebounds..scored my first points on a 360 layup after I broke Mike Miller's ankles. The next game, they play me exclusively at SG, and I only get 2 assists and 3 rebounds. Same thing for the next game. I need to get back to playing PG.

Just got done playing my first association game.. No freezes at all, everything is working perfectly for me. If I have any issues with this game, I'll be sure to post it here.. but I got nothing.
