Summerslam weekend and THQ has revealed the roster for the game set to come out in October. This is actually a big deal for the wrestlers, especially the curtain jerkers and mid-carders because a spot in the game means they get some nice royalty checks down the road.

I haven't played a WWE game since it was WWF. Just wondering have they ever made a game that had a complete roster of only the attitude era?

If I use 03-04 John Cena, will I have a chain with a pad lock on it in one corner of the ring, so when the refs not looking I can use it and then FU the Big Show ftw?

EDIT: Are Billy Gunn, X-Pac, and Road Dogg not suppose to be in DX? Because they don't say that next to their name like Michaels and HHH do.

The 3rd batch of characters they went over featured him along with Sin Cara, the Divas nobody with play as (Nattie Neidhart's not in unless she's DLC but Kharma's in? Lame.) and Punk at the end with the dated shirt that he doesn't wear anymore.

On another note, I get the multiple costumes for guys like Foley because he was basically playing as 3 guys at the time in Dude Love (selling out to feud with Austin), Mankind (from the Taker fights but it'll be cool to reenact IYH: Mind Games again) and Cactus Jack (from fighting the New Age Outlaws to mixing it up with Triple H at the RR).

What I DON'T get is that they could just do attire palette swaps for assholes like Cena and HHH, with entrances and movesets you can edit hopefully, to save room for more roster spots.

Shitheels like Heath Slater make it in but Ryback, the guy you've been pushing as the man who'll eat the lunch of all who stand before him, isn't?

You have to remember, for people like Ryback, (not a Lord) Tensai, Cesaro, etc, they decide on the roster months in advance (just look at the dated attires for some of these guys), way before these guys hit TV.

Everyone associates them with DX from the Attitude Era, so I'm sure that is their default. H's and Michaels have DX next to them because they also had their own things going for them.
