You can but... most of the ones I've seen are the shits.

It's the same shit year after year with DX always somehow returning for their 5 millionth reunion tour when the original concept for the stable was dead and buried back in the 90s...

...and Chyna returning for some odd reason...

...TNA invading; which in hindsight would sound like a great idea but the execution's off...

...or the prerequisite, "Here's my CAW taking over the company because he or she is awesome sauce and that's it" storyline.

So you're saying you're pretty much done playing the game? I finished Attitude mode in 4 days (played WWE 13 more than I did WWE 12 and SvR 11 combined in a week). I'm loving the game.

from there you begin a program that has Dizzle wrestling both Ziggy and cena, cutting a promo on Vicky, screen time with Vinny mac AND mick foley......n a chance to make some time with AJ Lee

I've just been mashing the face buttons along with the d-pad buttons and it seems to work once you've gotten your opponents limb(s) (depending on which submission you do) to red it's much easier...even on Legend.

It's basically the Submission Gauge for the game.

When you have an opponent prone or 'groggy,' you hold down the grapple button to engage the system.

From there, mash buttons like crazy until they either tap or get out of it.

The same works if you're put into as well (if you didn't hit the counter button fast enough)... just mash buttons until you reverse the hold.
