Madden NFL 13 Week 7 Roster Update Available 10/19

The week 7 roster updates for Madden NFL 13 will be available tomorrow.

Complete details on the changes are posted HERE

    Week 7 Roster Update

Hello Madden fans, Donny Moore the Madden Ratings Czar here with an update on the Week 7 Roster Update!

There are well over 400+ transactions and player rating adjustments that went into this roster update. We also targeted some player equipment updates this week - with over 150 players and 600+ equipment parts updated total.

The biggest movers after top notch performances in Week 6 are NY Jets RB Shonn Greene with a 4 point boost this week (now 80 overall), Seattle OL Russell Okung goes up 2 points to a 83 overall, Houston DE J.J. Watt going +2 to 96 overall, Minnesota WR Percy Harvin gets a nice increase up to 91 overall (+2), Tampa Bay WR Mike Williams gets a 2 point boost to 81 overall, and Dallas OL Phil Costa going up 2 points as well to a 75 overall.

Some of the biggest movers on the negative side are Arizona OL D’Anthony Batiste (from 59 to 55 overall), Pittsburgh DL Ziggy Hood (from 75 to 73 overall), Oakland LB Rolando McClain (from 86 to 83 overall), and New England CB Kyle Arrington (from 78 to 76 overall).

Look out for more weekly roster updates throughout the NFL season as and when available from the Madden Live Support Team.

Never understood why they have to always change player ratings every week.....

I think they should make adjustments like every 4 weeks because players run hot and cold throughout a season. Changing ratings every week tells me they aren't that confident in their own ratings with the default rosters.

They should utilize more hard data to determine player abilities.....for example why are they increasing certain player speed ratings during the season. It's not like a guy all of sudden became faster in week 6 than he was in week 4 unless a injury was slowing him down.

Hard data should be used on speed, strength, agility and vertical ratings every offseason......that data should change much during the year. If you want to make a QB better utilize his awareness rating that has a huge IMPACT on the field in both Madden and NCAA Football. Why overate a guys arm strength to just boost up his overall from week to week.

Same thing with a RB's.....utilize his vision ratings + Awareness to IMPACT the game. I don't want to see a guy who runs a 4.6 all of sudden being boosted up to a 88-90 speed/Acceleration just because he had a big game last week. At times I wonder if EA even knows themselves how their ratings IMPACT actual gameplay.

I agree 110% with everything you just said. The only thing I can think of is that EA believes it adds value to have weekly updates and that it generates more discussion in the community.

Wow this guy is a faggot. Why in the hell would be drop Michael Bennett's rating? Our whole D balled out last week. Wish they would fire this guy already.

That dropped Rolando McClain 3 fucking points? This has been his best season so far imo. 3 points is significant.
