Just kidding of course (or am I? ...) anyway, yeah. I have been trying to play as much of last year's version as possible in the last few weeks just to get a few more days out of my RTTS dude before I have to tear it down and start anew with a new guy.

On that note, it'd be cool if you could port your RTTS character over to the next year's title, and resume progress on that career.

I decided to get the game (both version) from Amazon. I had $25 in a gift card, so I ended up paying $62. Also I read that PSN is doing maintenance on Tuesday all day and afternoon.

The maintenance is scheduled to start at 4PM tomorrow and end by 3AM Tuesday morning. Knowing PS3 though I'm just praying it'll be up by the time I pick up the game Tuesday morning.

We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned maintenance for PlayStation Network scheduled for Monday, March 4th from 8AM to 7PM Pacific Time (11AM to 10PM Eastern). To clarify, this is an eleven hour maintenance.



If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.



Thanks for your patience during this maintenance timeframe, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Video 2 is all RTTS

update: from the videos....it looks like the physical attributes of your RTTS are all the same. As an example, there are no new hairstyles. For the most part, accessories are the same except for being to add the Nike logo to your collar. The difference comes with how you come up to bat, take practice swings, whiff, hit a HR. I couldn't see if any audio names were added.

I'm taking a new approach to RTTS this year. Every year I have made myself and played through, but, lost interest once rosters dropped. This year, I'll be running a offline 'chise again, but, I think I will also use a real player for my RTTS and just have it be someone that was a total bust and see if I can't "re-write history."

I'll be leaving my lecture early tomorrow so I can rush home and get my Amazon release day delivery, set the game in beginner mode, max out the sliders in my favor and make my yearly assault on Barry Bonds' records.
