You guys are right. I need to play it more. Played a few games today. Got to find the right sliders ... and I still suck at hitting off-speed pitches. Just brutal.

I haven't played this game online. Like NBA2K, I like to play a certain way and that can't be done in ranked games. In NBA2k, I prefer to use player % rather than the shot stick. In The Show, I don't like all the throwing meters or using the right stick for hitting.

You do know you can play with whatever settings you want on The Show. Your personal settings are your personal settings in any game mode. You may face someone who uses analog hitting or whatever, but you can choose how you play.

you guys choose going all analog or still doing the "classic" buttons (hitting, pitching, fielding)??

still waiting on '13 to come in but I've used analog since it was introduced for the PS3. On Vita, I use the buttons.

Game plays fantastically online. Having none of the issues with lag/awful timing windows of years past. Very much enjoying it thus far.

Only thing for me is, I gotta play on HOF. Which I'm fine with. All-Star is a bit arcadey as far as how big the PCI and such is. Fairly easy to make contact. HOF levels it out quite a bit.

So, after downloading the game again I install it and everything is fine. I set up my controls, turned off the game and did my homework. I comeback, start the game and it says corrupted. Fuck this shit man. Don't even wanna play the game now.

If you choose timing hitting as your hitting interface, it will be set to zone online. Says it right in the user settings menu. "Online games use ZONE if set to TIMING".

I'm not entirely certain what that means in terms of analog hitting, but you definitely can't use timing online.
