Online play is a lot better, seems like the hitting timing and batted ball variety is 10x better, to the point where you can run HOF/HOF and get decent results that resemble real baseball. I am waiting on rosters before I try out RTTS and Franchise a bit more, but for now strictly speaking online it's the best version in years.

hows the fielding? more specifically, how is the throwing with the button push in relation to the zip on the throw? is it all like bang bang or does it have some fluidity this year?
can u throw the ball around the horn after an out?

Rolling double plays can be tough at first when youre used to just hitting a button quickly. There's been manyatime where I've pressed triangle and then circle too quickly and all they do is pump. I get no outs out of it. From what I've done so far, you can't throw it around, it goes straight to AI action after an out with nobody on.

I like the physics more. More hit variety, pitches seems to have a more natural break. I think fielding is a little better as well, better hit variety helps, but the mechanics seems better to me. Took a little to adjust, but I like the new throwing controls.

Can't wait to create my RTTS in '13, I already have a couple of names to pick from. I'm going to finish my 2020 RTTS season and save him to my cloud. I did the same for my '11 guy, I have still yet to retire a guy. I seriously doubt I'll ever get The Show '11 or '12 but the option is still there.
