Yeah, not at all. I'm guessing you never played the last game? Actually, I know you didn't because it was 360 and PC only. It's just a FPS with great atmosphere and an interesting currency system. It was also hard as balls.

It's not even the best arcade racer of the year.

Some of the car physics are more sim-like than your typical arcade racer where you just power slide every corner and nitrous burst out, but the game is nowhere near sim. It's an arcade racer through and through.
