[ALL] How do you store/organize/hold your games?

I really look forward to the fully digital error one day but until then how do you store/organize your games.

I use one of these 72 DVD holder. All my game clam shells are in a closet. I keep them to eventually sell them on ebay when I am done with them.

I put the games I play the most up front then organize by genre and then system. PS3 in the back.

I will snap a few pics when I get home.

All games in whatever case is available strewn out across the floor in front of, beside, and behind the PS3

It's like a game in itself trying to find the game I want to play. Half the time I find a game I didn't even think about and realize I want to play that one instead of continuing my search

I have a small bookshelf that has a few rows for my PS3 games. It's also currently holding my SNES games while the SNES console is boxed away with the NES collection.

All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

          "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Displaying those games proudly, not hiding them away like jms.

I store everything here. But Steam blows and if thats how digital is going to be in the future it will suck. You cant save your Steam shit on your hard drive. you can only dl and have it installed. if your like me who has an ssd for apps then space is limited and you cant have all your games installed. So if there is a game you want to just pick up and play, you cant because you have to wait 4 hours to dl it from steam....and thats LAME!

anyways, here is my storage device

Suppose I could spring for a cheap balsa bookshelf but... two stacks, 20 each, all in their cases.

Other than the occasional OCD bent of rearranging them by company, sequel, and/or what I haven't finished yet, they don't go anywhere far from my chair and system.

I'm happy and that's all that matters.

You do know that you can install a large capacity HDD that you can use to store your games and other large file stuff, right? Hell, you can even download and run games on an external hard drive.

I still love how Senser identified an obscure Pet Shop Boys CD single and mocked me for it ... a CD that only fans could ever identify. I have no problem saying I'm a fan, Senser apparently is still in the damn closet.

i have a large hdd that is used to store games. the problem is that with steam you cant dl the game without installing it. they dont let you download the file like you can with amazon or origin. Im not interested in installing the game to my hdd. i install them to my ssd but only have enough space for 3-5 games to be installed at once. So everytime i want to play a steam game that isnt already installed, i have to dl it first, then install it

if you know a way to dl the game files from steam without installing them to the ssd, let me know
