Ouch.

It does seem like the last three Forza games (Horizon included) are doing DLC the wrong way. It seems they are purposely withholding content to charge extra for it as DLC which is bullshit. But they'll continue this practice if you clowns keep forking over the money for it.

I'm glad I'm not a sim racer guy.

Not really. Cancelled that pre-order after they announced the ridiculously small amount of tracks and cars. Waiting until at least after Christmas again.

I would never praise a $50 season pass. Especially when it appears content was intentionally cut for purposes of DLC. If Gran Turismo did the same bullshit I'd hate on it just the same.
I'm just not a big fan of sim racers and bullshit like this just makes it that much easier to stay away.

It's not that I have no interest, I do intend on getting an XBone at some point and I had a blast with Forza 2 back in the MM days. But the turn this series has made with their marketing and sales practices is pretty horrible. I also loved Forza Horizon but holy fuck if I didn't want to punch a baby every time they blatantly tried to sell you on their ridiculously over priced DLC IN GAME.

well unfortunately that the way of the industry. I never bought DLC I didnt want and if keeps Turn 10 in business then so be it.

While I agree that Season Passes and DLC are part of gaming these days, some companies, including Turn 10 and M$ (although I'd be willing to bet Turn 10 didn't have much say in the matter) are just way more disgusting with it. If you want to offer it? Fine. Just don't try to shove it down my throat every three seconds and advertise it on every fucking loading screen. This is more directed at Horizon. Even you said the $20 rally DLC they had for that game was bullshit and should've been $5, and if I remember correctly it wasn't even part of the Season Pass for that game!

yes Horizon was TURRIBLE with DLC content and management.

Forza 4 had a bunch but they never really forced you or made you feel like you needed it. I hope they don't do the same for Forza 5.

Honestly I think Horizon was just MS saying to turn 10 you need to make another game that will make us some more money. 2 games a cycle is just not cutting it. IMO if I was MS and probably paying Turn 10 quite a lot of money to stay exclusive I would demand another game out of them as well.

Horizon was a fun game but it was a revenue stream that MS probably needed to stay in the green with their Turn 10 deal.

Apparently PT is a big fan of shittily done and overpriced DLC, as long as it's an Xbox game. Not surprised.

For one I get a terrible signal at work, it's too hard to go back and look at all the scores on my phone to remember who gave what score as I'm posting.
Point is, there is a wide range from 7 to 9.

I think 9is a great game, seven is something i would probably pass on
