Buying tokens to amass cars more quickly is LESS fun to me. Just buying stuff with real money and taking away working for them in-game has never been fun for me. I like working for my stuff in a game.

Anyways, them not giving cars away for level ups was announced in one of their videos a little while back.

Welcome to the fremium model of gaming. Unfair to those who actually want to play and move up through the game. It proved successful in free-to-play models and is now moving into the realm of purchased games it seems.

Not necessarily Forza related, but this is why I am starting to be turned off to gaming right now.

its fucking crazy. I just hope we can find away to make some dough. IMO the best way was always online racing with 8-10 guys turning off your assists.

I just checked and I owned over 250 cars in forza 4.....wowzers.

The only time I've done microtransactions is for The Old Republic, and that's because as a subscriber, I get free coins to purchase items in game. That's it. I'll never touch it anywhere else.

So I have been racing on "Pro" level drivatar difficulty and it has been a decent challenge. I would say the first and 2nd place cars are a bit tough to catch up to but the rest of the pack was pretty easy to pass. I tried 'Unbeatable" and that felt like I was racing real people for sure. This was truly a tough level of difficulty as I came in 8th place in a 3 lap race at Road Atlanta (typically one of my faster tracks). You have to have a solid car and have it tuned to win at this difficulty.

Some cons I have found the more I play.

• The multiplayer hoppers need to be retuned. Everytime Goat and I try and race we can only find 1 or 2 other drivers it any at all. its says there are 1000s of drivers online but where are they??
• You can NOT gift anything anymore. No tunes, no cars, no liverys ect.
• You can NOT sell your cars anymore...ugh why???
• There is not a discount that I see for upgrading your cars. Last year you could basically upgrade your Audi for free if you raised your affinity level high enough. The appears to be gone. I am a level 9 on my Audi and no discounts.
• The lotus F1 car is 8M Credits or 10,000 Tokens.....WTF???
• They just really nerfed/changed the economy here. I am racing with no assists and on Pro difficulty (6/7 hardest) and I am making 12-13K per race coming in 1st. You get a boost each level up but it seems to be 31,500 credits each time. it should be increasing each level.

The racing, cars, Forza vista, drivatars and tracks are all fantastic but a lot of what is outside of that is a bit crappy.
