One final bit before I sign off for the week: we’ve still got a big announcement ahead of us! As you know, if you read our recently posted open letter from Dan Greenawalt to the Forza community, we’re going to soon be announcing a new free add-on for Forza Motorsport 5. I can’t tell you what it will or, alas, give any hints, but I can echo Dan’s comments in the open letter and say that I believe it will be worth the wait. More next week! Also of note, Inside Sim Racing is doing a big article on Forza 5 that will be dropping on the 10th. They can't talk about it b/c it's news that's not yet released.

God Dammit YUSSS!!!. I've been putting this track on my wish list for awhile now. I've been dying for a street circuit. Surprised there weren't more rumors about this track given that this week is the Long Beach Grand Prix for TUSCC, IndyCar and World Challenge.

Anybody want to have an emergency non-points race night tomorrow to celebrate?

So there was a leaked track list before this game launched in the fall that mentioned all of the tracks that were either rebuilt or newly scanned. Every track on the list has turned up in the game either at launch or with the two add-ons so far.

So... Tracks that ARE on that list but we haven't seen YET:

Nürburgring
Circuit of the Americas
Monza
Lime Rock Park
Pacific Raceways

Since the list has been 100% correct so far, we may be seeing these tracks in the future.

Makes me a little sad that Watkins Glen and Brands Hatch aren't on that list, but hey, I'd be ecstatic to get Monza, CotA and Lime Rock in the series. I'm DYING to take a GTE car around Circuit of the Americas.

And yes, I will be streaming lots of Long Beach tomorrow. MP races along with some single player stuff like GTE, V8 Supercars, F1 and IndyCar.
