So glad they are gonna have a bundled in headset. That was something the 360 did absolutely right.

And... "Use the SHARE button on DUALSHOCKŪ4 to share your gameplay videos and pictures in the blink of an eye. Stream your live gameplay to Ustream or record, edit and upload videos to Facebook on the fly."

The sharing feature seems like its gonna be everything I could hope for. I am excited as hell.

Interesting. I see his argument that since RAM is so cheap, there should be more than 8 gigs. But at the same time, they cannot future proof the console. In 7 years, we'll be using PCs with 64 gigs of RAM and 10 TB hard drives.

Considering the state that Sony, as a company, is in, they are banking on making a ton of money on the PS4. If they were to add another 8 gigs of RAM, that would more than likely up the bill of materials by another 10-20 bucks. Doesn't sound like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but another 20 bucks added to the console would cost the company around 20-30 million at launch. Not a ton of money, but not zero either.

When I get PS4 at launch I have to choose 2 games to go along with Madden. Dying Light, The Division, Watch Dogs are what I'm looking at so far.

I would be surprised if The Division is a launch window title.

EDIT: My guess is that will be a fall 2014 game.

Sony is predicted to ship multiple versions of its PlayStation 4 hardware when the console goes on sale this holiday season, according to an unnamed source, as reported by GamesIndustry International.

Full details are expected to be revealed at the company’s E3 press conference being held later today, with a rumoured $399 starting price, and the highest-priced model selling for $599. While no specifics were given regarding potential technical differences between configurations, the unnamed insider tipped that Sony hopes to use the console and its 4K resolution support as a “stepping stone” to push glasses-free 3D viewing.

Earlier today Microsoft revealed its pricing for the Xbox One. The Xbox hardware will go on sale globally this November and will cost $499 in North America, €499/Ģ429 in Europe, and $599 in Australia.

Because they knew how MS would go. They had to bring something to the table to hold the tide against what they want to do. Smart business decision. I really think this generation is going to come down to exclusives.
