When I called Gamestop to ask about pre-ordering yesterday, they said they are giving 30% extra for items traded in towards the pre-order of a PS4/XBO. Considering Gamestop, it's probably still a shitty deal, but at least it's something.

As a person that can't stand the Dual Shock 3 anymore after loving the 360 controller...the new Dual Shock looks fucking awesome and seems to address most of what I disliked about it before. I just haven't really seen a pic or description that shows if the "triggers" are actual triggers now? That would make it perfect.

what looks different about it? its the same layout as before. most people like the 360 controller because of the offset analog sticks. the ps4 controller still doesnt have them that way which is the main problem with them

Different grip, actual triggers, concave sticks. The positioning of the sticks was not as important as giving it triggers and getting rid of those awful convex sticks (and it doesn't even really bother me, although I do prefer the offset).

i do agree that the conclave sticks will make a big difference . The triggers never bothered me cause i paid the 2 bucks for the snap on triggers. but thats a plus too. but it still comes down to the stick position for me.

it really was a dumb thing to say. He should have just said the Xbox was designed to be connected to the internet in order for the gamer to get the most out of the system and that is a design choice we made. We know it is a risk but its a risk we are betting on.

Or just make the fucking thing allowed to play disc based games offline.

I do agree that the stick position is wonky, but I don't expect them to ever change that, so I'm taking what little concessions that they'll give. I at times actively dislike playing games on my PS3 because of the controller. I don't think this will be the case with PS4.
